Parvatipuram MLA Bonela Vijaya Chandra on Saturday urged Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi to complete nearly 1,000 acres of land acquisition in Odisha so that the Jhanjavati Irrigation project would soon be a reality.
The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader met Mr. Mohan Charan during a national conference of SC/ST welfare committees of legislators held in Bhubaneswar. He explained that the Jhanjavati project would irrigate 25,000 acres of land in Parvatipuram-Manyam district and benefit neighbouring habitations in Odisha with drinking water facilities.
