A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) worker from Madhya Pradesh on Friday (August 29, 2025) lodged a police complaint after his pictures were shared on social media to claim that he was the same person who has been arrested by the Bihar Police for allegedly abusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi during Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s Voter Adhikar Yatra.
Anuppur Superintendent of Police Moti Ur Rahman told The Hindu that a defamation complaint has been received at Kotma police station from a man named Nek Mohammad Rizvi, alleging that his pictures sourced from his social media accounts have been used to connect him with the accused in Bihar incident.
