Jessica Tarlov — the lone liberal voice on Fox News’ “The Five” and a recent target of Donald Trump — on Thursday called out the hypocrisy of her cohosts to their faces.
Tarlov challenged her four conservative colleagues to imagine how they’d respond if a Democratic president like Barack Obama or Joe Biden pulled the kind of stunts that Republican Trump is right now.
She cited Trump’s lack of respect for Congress, deployment of the National Guard to cities and “shaking down” of private businesses among other recent Trump moves.
Co-host Greg Gutfeld defended Trump, claiming Tarlov was “applying your bias to every one of these things and then you expect us to agree with it.”
Tarlov disagreed, saying: “I am just giving you exactly what Donald Trump is doing but in the form of Barack Obama,” continuing: “Let’s say a Democratic president said, ‘I would like to control what goes in our museums, I would like to control American life on campuses.’ You would be losing your mind.”
