The Supreme Court on Friday (August 29, 2025) issued a notice to the Centre in a writ petition case filed by former Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Subramanian Swamy seeking directions to the Union Ministry of Culture for an expeditious decision on his representations for the declaration of the Ram Setu as a monument of national importance.
