Israel's Ministry of Defense criticized a decision made by the British government to restrict Israel's official participation in the DSEI U.K. 2025 exhibition, scheduled to take place in London in September.
The ministry said that the restrictions imposed on Israeli government officials and military representatives' participation "amount to a deliberate and regrettable act of discrimination against Israel's representatives."
The ministry dubbed the move as one that "plays into the hands of extremists, grants legitimacy to terrorism and introduces political considerations wholly inappropriate for a professional defense ministry."
According to the statement, any Israeli defense industry firms that choose to participate will receive any needed assistance from the ministry.
