Father James Patteril has been appointed as the new Bishop of Diocese of Belthangady.
The Bishop-elect Fr. Patteril was born in Mangaluru on July 27, 1962. Fr. Patteril who will be the second Bishop of Belthangady Diocese will succeed the incumbent Bishop Lawrence Mukkuzhy.
