The IDF said that two new humanitarian aid and food distribution centers will be constructed in southern Gaza in the coming days.
According to the IDF, the decision to establish the new centers was made "in accordance with the directive of the political leadership."
Once construction is complete, a total of five food distribution centers will be operated by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, the IDF said.
The army added that a total of at least 2.3 million weekly food packages have been distributed to families in Gaza through the existing aid centers.
