The East Coast Coconut Farmers’ Association, Peravurani, has pleaded for the restoration of Thandankulam Aeri (tank) at Seruvavidhuthi to its original status.

In a memorandum to District Collector B. Priyanka Pankajam, association president E. V .Gandhi said that the tank spread over 118 hectares served as the major irrigation source to around 1,000 acres of agricultural fields in Seruvavidhuthi North and South, Krishnapuram and Kalathur West.
