■ On Thursday morning, the UN Security Council will vote to end the UNIFIL mandate in southern Lebanon. This decision marks the beginning of the process of disbanding the force. From the moment the force is disbanded, full security responsibility will be placed on the Lebanese Army.

■ Britain, France and Germany, known as the E3, plan to jointly notify the UN Security Council on Thursday that Iran is in "significant" violation of the 2015 nuclear deal and that they will reinstate international sanctions that were suspended as part of that agreement, according to a report in the Washington Post.

■ Drone launched from Yemen was intercepted by the IDF after sirens sounded in the southern Israel communities of Bnei Netzarim and Naveh, close to the Egyptian border.

■ Egypt is training hundreds of Palestinians to be part of a force providing security for a post-war Gaza Strip, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal.
