A crowd of revellers draped in St George's flags were refused entry to a family pub because they were part of a drunk, anti-migrant mob protesting outside a notorious asylum hotel, the manager has revealed.

Disturbing footage posted on social media sparked controversy after it showed a confrontation between the group and staff at the doors of the Manor Farm pub in Birmingham.

The female pub manager, standing behind two colleagues acting as doormen can be heard telling him that they would 'serve everyone'.

But the popular boozer, owned by the UK's biggest pub chain Greene King, would not get involved in protests.

The woman has been 'off duty' since bravely confronting the yobs on Sunday afternoon as the owner looks into the 'safety and security issues' of its staff.
