Aug. 27 (UPI) -- Financier George Soros and his son Alexander should be charged with Racketeering Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act charges, President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday.

The president did not cite any evidence against George and Alexander Soros or specific incidents while urging that they be charged for alleged RICO Act violations.

"George Soros and his wonderful radical-left son should be charged with RICO because of their support of violent protests and much more all throughout the United States," Trump said in a Truth Social post.

Trump called Soros and his son Alexander "lunatics" and said his administration won't let them "rip apart America any more."
