Viwoods, reMarkable and Supernote are vying to produce the premier note-taking device. While Supernote’s latest lacks the colour screen of the reMarkable Paper Pro and is marginally thicker (at 6mm) than Viwoods’ AiPaper, its elegant organisational tools feel superior – and that, for me, is more important. Pages can be moved easily between notebooks and thence into folders, while words and phrases can be assigned as headers or keywords, letting you build indexes that take you to specific notes with a tap. The tablet surface has a slight softness to it – like writing on a pad of paper, rather than a slate – and it’ll work with your favourite EMR pen.
