A historic 17-bedroom castle in the Scottish Borders has gone on the market for more than £3 million.
Ayton Castle, located in the countryside near Berwick-upon-Tweed, comes complete with stables, a private chapel, servants quarters - and even a private railway.
The lavish home is on the market through estate agents GSC Grays - with a guide price of offers over £3.25m.
It is widely regarded as Scotland's finest baronial-style building and was designed by James Gillespie Graham - Scotland's leading Gothic revival architect of the early 19th century.
The castle was built around a medieval tower house and is set within more than 160 acres of land.
