A creepy ex-partner terrified the mother of his child by stalking her via his stepmother’s Alexa device, a court heard.
Ryan Allen, 29, was able to use the digital assistant to connect with his stepmother’s mobile phone and then send voicemails to his former girlfriend Jessica Keeley.
Ms Keeley, 25, was fooled into thinking it was the stepmother calling her from holiday in Mexico and listened to the messages – only to find drink-fuelled Allen ranting incoherently at her.
He also turned up shouting in the street outside his victim’s home and, on one occasion, entered via an unsecured door and drew a smiley face in blood inside the property.
Ms Keeley, pregnant at the time with her new partner, was left feeling ‘vulnerable in her own home’.
