Israeli forces have been operating in the West Bank City of Nablus for 10 hours, with one resident arrested. Twenty-seven Palestinians have been wounded during the raid, two from rubber bullets and 25 from smoke inhalation, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent.
According to locals and security officials, the IDF forces entered the city with dozens of vehicles and searched dozens of homes. The military also ordered several families living in the city's Casbah to evacuate and return in the afternoon.
Other sources said that the IDF placed snipers on top of several roofs in the city center and had raided several stores.
