The Israeli military says its soldiers from the Givati Brigade have been engaged in ongoing fighting in northern Gaza’s Jabalia area and the outskirts of Gaza City.
“As part of the activity, a terrorist cell was eliminated and a weapons storage facility was located,” it claimed. “The activity of the troops on the outskirts of Gaza City enables the expansion of operations deeper into the area and prevents the entrenchment of terrorist organisations in the region.”
