Paul Gallagher – the older brother of Oasis legends Liam and Noel – appeared in court today for the first time accused of rape and a string of violent sex offences.
The 59-year-old, from East Finchley in north London, is facing multiple charges including rape, three counts of sexual assault, coercive and controlling behaviour, two counts of intentional strangulation, two counts of making threats to kill, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He stood before Westminster Magistrates' Court this morning as the full list of alleged offences, said to have taken place between 2022 and 2024 against one woman, were detailed.
Gallagher spoke only to confirm his name, date of birth and address.
The case was sent to Harrow Crown Court on September 24 where he will enter a plea at a later date.
