The Kerala High Court asked the State whether it had obtained sanction to prosecute Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) M.R. Ajith Kumar in a disproportionate assets case.
The Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau’s (VACB) preliminary inquiry report had exonerated him from any wrongdoing in the case. Mr. Ajith Kumar had approached the Kerala High Court recently, challenging a Special Court rebuffing the VACB’s report.
