Former London’s Burning actor John Alford engaged in sex with an underage girl and sexually assaulted another, a court heard today.
The TV star is said to have had sex with one girl in a garden and in a toilet and to have performed a sex act on another girl.
Opening the case, prosecutor Julie Whitby said that Mr Alford 'was in no doubt both the girls were under 16'.
Alford, 53, who also appeared in Grange Hill, denies six charges, including two of engaging in non-penetrative sexual activity with a girl aged under 16 and two of engaging in penetrative activity with a girl under 16.
He is also accused of assaulting a female aged 13 or over by penetration with part of body and sexual assault on a female.
