This is the moment a fight broke out among Notting Hill Carnival revellers on the Tube - as police hailed a crackdown at the festival that led to 400 arrests.

Footage filmed inside Baker Street station shows a man in a brightly coloured carnival costume scuffling with a group of other revellers.

After being pushed away, he picks up a drinks can from the floor and throws it towards them, prompting a woman to surge forward and hit him on the head.

The fight then continues into a carriage, where the youngster is seen being pummelled by a much larger man in a tank top as leering onlookers film on their phones.

As Europe's biggest street festival, Notting Hill Carnival attracts throngs of revellers in brightly coloured festival costumes and features parades, steel bands and thumping sound systems.
