British pubs are already renowned for their good beers and hearty grub.

But the Bank Tavern in Bristol has taken its reputation to a whole new level, having been named among the most exclusive restaurants in the whole world.

So tasty is the food that there is a year-long waiting list for a table for its roast dinners – which cost £19.95 – and slots sell out quicker than Glastonbury Festival tickets.

The pub opened its diary for bookings for the first time in four years on January 2 and, just 13 minutes later, every slot had been snapped up for the year.
