Haryana Congress party members on Monday (August 25, 2025) held a protest march here against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Election Commission of India (ECI), reiterating the party’s allegation of “vote theft”.
Haryana Congress MLAs led by former Chief Minister and Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda held a foot march to stage their protest as they carried placards and raised slogans against the ECI and the BJP. Outside the State Assembly complex, Mr. Hooda said that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s revelations surrounding ‘vote theft’ have made it clear that the BJP did not win in Haryana, but it has stolen the Congress government.
