One of the last people to see Jay Slater alive has made a bizarre return to the Tenerife AirBnB the teenager vanished from - after refusing to give evidence at the inquest into his death.

Stephen Roccas - known as Rocky - was staying at the remote mountain cottage in Masca with Jay and convicted drug dealer Ayub Qassim, 31, on the night the 19-year-old disappeared into the wilderness.

But while Qassim gave evidence via video link, Roccas flatly refused to take part - despite several attempts to serve him with a witness summons.

Now, in a move branded ‘sick’ by Jay’s devastated mother Debbie Duncan, Roccas has posted a nine-second video of himself standing outside the very cottage where her son was last seen alive.

Dressed in a West Ham football shirt, Roccas pans across the same mountain view Jay saw before he vanished, adding only the caption: ‘Views’ - along with two fire emojis and one of a mountain.
