Aug. 25 (UPI) -- The Washington Commanders and wide receiver Terry McLaurin agreed to a three-year, $96 million contract extension, a league source told UPI on Monday.
McLaurin, who will receive a $30 million signing bonus, was entering the final year of the three-year, $68.3 million pact he signed in 2022. He is set to receive a base salary of $15.5 million in 2025.
The 29-year-old pass catcher made the Pro Bowl in two of the last three years. He totaled 82 catches for 1,096 yards and a career-high 13 touchdowns over 17 starts last season.
McLaurin did not miss a start over the last four seasons. He missed just three games since entering the league as a third-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
The former Ohio State star totaled 460 catches for 6,379 yards and 38 scores over the first 97 starts of his NFL career.
