Randy Rainbow pounced on Donald Trump’s retreat from releasing the Jeffrey Epstein files and got catty about his leadership goals in a parody of “I Just Can’t Wait To Be King” from “The Lion King.” (Watch the video below.)
The Grammy- and Emmy-nominated comedian hadn’t produced a political spoof in about three months ― during which time Trump sent troops to Washington, D.C., in a supposed crime crackdown, vengefully went after more perceived enemies, and changed his tune on the well-connected sex offender Epstein, who was once his pal.
“He’s gonna be a lyin’ king, this autocratic turd,” Rainbow began. “His second term is just the start, he’s thinkin’ about a third. He’s shutting down all scrutiny, the fourth estate is done. He’s acting extra-Putin-y, I’m calling 9-1-1. Democracy is dangling by a string. Cause he just can’t wait to be king.”
Rainbow was just getting warmed up.
“Who’s his crown? He’ll track you down, so don’t you dare resist. He’s on top of everything, including Epstein’s list.”
