Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed the Health, Medical & Family Welfare Department to establish Jan Aushadhi stores in every mandal, ensuring affordable generic medicines are available to the public and easing the financial burden on the poor.
He also emphasised promoting naturopathy and exploring the possibility of extending up to ₹25 lakh in health insurance coverage under the NTR Vaidya Seva scheme to an additional two million families. Currently, 1.43 crore families benefit from the scheme.
