The group of migrants spoke at a Holiday Inn Express in Oxford during a demonstration on Saturday.

This weekend, rival groups angrily clashed in front of hotels being used to house asylum seekers as a wave of protests spread across Britain - with at least 30 demonstrations taking place in one day.

Around 20 migrants stood outside the hotel in Oxford on Saturday with the protection of security watching the demonstration, while noise came from a counter protest nearby.

One man, who did not wish to be named, is from Afghanistan and came to the UK around a year and a half ago.
