Activist Manoj Jarange on Monday (August 25, 2025) said the government should announce reservation for the Maratha community "within the legal framework" by Tuesday (August 26, 2025), failing which he will proceed for Mumbai to launch an agitation.
He said if the demand is fulfilled by Tuesday (August 26, 2025), then he has no interest in going to Mumbai for an "indefinite hunger strike", which he claimed would be a peaceful agitation.
