Force says cause of wounds and whether they are connected to man’s death are still under investigation

Hong Kong police have launched an investigation into the death of a man who was found wounded and covered in blood underneath a bridge.

The force said it received a report at 6.18am on Monday that the 51-year-old man was discovered under a bridge on Yick Yuen Road in Tuen Mun.

He was certified dead at the scene. Police said that wounds were found on the body, but their cause and whether they were related to his death were still under investigation.
