Marko Monroe wears many hats. Not only is he a reality TV star, stylist and designer, but he is also known for designing custom Labubu dolls for collectors from Lady Gaga to Marc Jacobs.

In a recent interview with W Magazine, Monroe revealed that he first started customising Labubus when his own doll became worn out, as he carried it everywhere.
“So, one day, out of pure boredom and curiosity, I just started to take it apart, and I did so by the seam, so I could keep it as a pattern. I have three dachshunds, and I wanted a dachshund Labubu. So I started playing around and made it. It got such a great response [on TikTok] that I made another, which also got a great response, and it continued from there.”
