Criminals face being barred from pubs, concerts and sports under new sentencing powers.
Judges will also be able to impose driving limits, travel bans and orders restricting offenders to specific areas.
And even criminals with no history of substance abuse will face mandatory drug testing.
Those who break the conditions could face being dragged back in front of a judge and given a tougher punishment.
The crisis in prison places has led the Government to explore alternatives to custody.
