According to Gaza's health officials, two of the eight who died of starvation were children, and six others were killed while waiting for humanitarian aid

The Gaza Health Ministry said that 61 Palestinians were killed and 308 were wounded and reached hospitals across the Gaza Strip over the last 24 hours.

According to the statement issued Saturday, eight new cases of death due to malnutrition and hunger were noted in the last day, two of them children. Six people were killed while waiting for humanitarian aid.

According to Nasser Hospital, 17 of the dead were killed at an encampment of displaced Palestinians in the southern Strip's Khan Yunis. Health officials are saying rescue teams cannot reach all the impact sites because of repeated Israeli attacks.

The ministry states 62,622 people were killed and 157,673 were wounded by Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.
