The first day of the monsoon session of the Haryana Legislative Assembly on Friday (August 22, 2025) was overshadowed by mayhem and multiple adjournments as Opposition Congress MLAs demanded an urgent discussion on the issue of the prevailing law and order situation in the State, even as Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini asserted the government was ready for the deliberation.
Soon after the obituary references, the Congress MLAs, led by former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, urged an adjournment motion to discuss the deteriorating law and order situation in the State against the backdrop of the death of a 19-year-old teacher under mysterious circumstances in Haryana’s Bhiwani a week ago.
