President Donald Trump said Friday he had no prior knowledge of the early morning FBI raid on his former advisor John Bolton, although he speculated that his former advisor-turned-critic could be in trouble with the law.
'No, I don't know about it, I saw it on television this morning,' Trump said to reporters during a visit at the White House Historical Association Museum after the raid.
'I'm not a fan of John Bolton,' he added. 'He's a real sort of a lowlife.'
Media cameras caught the FBI raid on Bolton's home in Bethesda, Maryland, as agents were spotted leaving the home with boxes of evidence.
Later in the day, Trump also commented on Bolton to reporters in the Oval Office.
