Extensive security arrangements have been made in Tirunelveli as Union Home Minister Amit Shah is expected to participate in BJP booth committee members’ southern regional meeting to be held on North Bypass Road in Palayamkottai on Friday.
The BJP has planned to organise seven regional meetings for the booth agents to roll out its preparations for the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections in 2026, and Mr. Amit Shah participates in the first meeting of this series to give a thrust to the five-month-long exercise extending till January 24 next year.
