'Towering figure in Indian jurisprudence': Kharge introduces V-P candidate Reddy to Opposition leaders

Leaders of several opposition parties on Wednesday (August 20, 2025) felicitated their joint Vice-Presidential candidate B. Sudershan Reddy in the central hall of Samvidhan Sadan (old Parliament).

Introducing Mr. Reddy, a retired Supreme Court judge, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge said the opposition parties decided to field someone who has been dedicated to constitutional principles and Mr. Reddy is one such person.
