Just like suo motu cases were booked for inflammatory speeches following the recent lynching and two murders, the Dakshina Kannada police should use the same action now to prevent efforts to denigrate Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara temple, said Dakshina Kannada district BJP president Satish Kumpala in Mangaluru on Tuesday.
Talking to reporters, Mr. Kumpala condemned the comments of activist Mahesh Shetty Thimarody against BJP national general secretary, B.L. Santhosh, who has come out in the open against denigration of the temple using the ongoing Special Investigation Team probe into the mass burial issue.
