Tamil Nadu BJP president Nainar Nagenthran and Tamil Manila Congress (M) president G.K. Vasan, on Monday (August 18, 2025), appealed to parties in INDIA bloc to support National Democratic Alliance’s Vice-Presidential candidate, C.P. Radhakrishnan, on the ground that he is the ‘son of Tamil soil’.
In a statement, Mr. Nagenthran said ‘if history records that every party, rising above political boundaries, supported this honour being bestowed on a Tamil leader, it will be remembered as a milestone in healthy politics’.
