Drone-aided search operations for a 43-year-old fisherman who was feared drowned in the swirling downstream waters at Kadem dam in Nirmal district on Saturday proved futile, as he could not be traced out till reports last came in late on Sunday evening.
The fisherman, identified as Gangadhar of Kannapur village, was washed away in the gushing waters on Saturday when he had gone downstream of the dam to catch fish, sources said.
