Hamas's chief negotiator, Khalil al‑Hayya, will meet today with Egyptian intelligence chief Hassan Rashad, Qatari representatives, and leaders of Palestinian factions, to examine how Israel can be pressured to return to negotiations over a hostage deal, a Palestinian official said.
According to the source, the meeting is taking place at Rashad's request. At the same time, Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Mustafa arrived in Cairo and will meet his Egyptian counterpart and the foreign minister to discuss the postwar Gaza.
