She went to Carnegie Mellon University – just like her co-star Lola Tung – and begged her parents to send her to acting school at age six
Isabella Briggs, 25, is a star on the rise.
“She is an incredibly hard and passionate worker, with a bit of a sardonic edge,” Briggs told Numéro Netherlands of her character. “You’ll begin to see this workplace rivalry form between her and Steven. However, as the show progresses, you’ll get to see more of her vulnerability and understand the root of the initial opinions she holds in the beginning of the show.” In an interview with Today, Kaufman said that their “workplace dynamic really changes Steven.”
Here’s everything you need to know about the new cast member.
Born in Los Angeles, Briggs fell in love with acting when she was three years old and begged her parents to let her take acting classes, she told Teen Vogue. It wasn’t until she was six that her parents allowed her to start acting professionally, provided she could commit to an acting class for a year. Briggs persevered and began acting at the age of seven.
