The grieving mother of a 22-year-old, who was gunned down by e-bike riders, says she died on the same day, as she issues a plea to help find his killers.

Sam Rimmer was with friends on Lavrock Bank, Dingle, Liverpool, on August 16, 2022, when attackers rode by on e-bikes and fired shots at him and his friends.

Sadly, Sam was shot in the back and died shortly afterwards in hospital. Since his death, ten people having been arrested but no charges have been placed.

Now his mother, Joanne, has issued a desperate plea urging any witnesses, or anyone with information, to come forward on the third anniversary of his death.

Describing the years following his murder as 'painful' and 'traumatic', adding: 'The passing of time has not eased the pain.'
