The United States State Department announced on Saturday that it has halted the issuing of visitor visas for Palestinians from Gaza, while it conducts a "full and thorough review of the process and procedures used to issue a small number of temporary medical-humanitarian visas in recent days."

The halting comes after far-right influencer Laura Loomer, who holds close influence on President Trump despite her frequent and public feuding with other senior officials in his orbit, shared videos of Palestinian refugees arriving at various airports in the US while demanding the State Department cease providing entry to "Islamic invaders."

"This is a national security threat. Through my investigation, I've found out that GAZANS have been imported to Texas, California, Ohio, Seattle, DC, and Atlanta over the last month," Loomer posted over the weekend.

"Who is giving them visas? We didn't vote for mass migration of jihadis into our country," she added. "This is America Last. They need to be rounded up and deported."
