President Donald Trump greeted Russian President Vladimir Putin as he arrived in Anchorage, Alaska, Friday afternoon ahead of their highly anticipated sit-down, though the previously planned one-on-one meeting will now include two other officials from each country, the White House said.
Trump and Putin shook hands on the tarmac at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage around 3:10 p.m. EDT after both exited their planes, before getting into Trump’s limousine en route to the meeting location.
