Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday (August 14, 2025) conducted an aerial survey of the flood affected areas of Vaishali, Patna, Begusarai and Munger districts. He also gave necessary instructions to the officials concerned. Nearly 25 lakh people are affected due to floods in ten districts of Bihar.
Mr. Kumar inspected Raghopur Diara of Vaishali district, Kala Diara, Rupas Mahaji, Ramnagar, Kasaha Diara of Patna district and the taal (riverine) area of Mokama, Barh and Fatuha.

He also took stock of the situation by conducting an aerial survey of the flood affected areas of Begusarai and Munger districts.
While giving instructions to the officials during the aerial survey, the Chief Minister said that the Water Resources Department should be fully alert and keep monitoring the water level in the low lying areas continuously.
