MAGA personality Charlie Kirk tried to defend President Donald Trump on Fox News Thursday with a statement that left him with a proverbial egg on his face.

Kirk was on Will Cain’s show discussing California Gov. Gavin Newsom, who recently announced a ballot initiative in his state designed to offset the controversial redistricting ploy being attempted by Republicans in Texas ahead of the 2026 congressional elections.

Since Newsom is one of those D-D-D-Democrats who inspires conservative pundits to fearmonger, it’s evident his plans weren’t going to be praised on Fox News.

At one point, Kirk, who was on Newsom’s podcast earlier this year, accused the governor of being “someone who is super inauthentic and, honestly, fraudulent.”

He then attempted to contrast Newsom’s so-called inauthenticity with Trump, saying the president “is the exact same person in private as he is in public.”
