BELGOROD, August 13. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces launched about 80 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) at Russia’s borderline Belgorod Region in the past day, regional Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said.

"This morning, the city of Belgorod was attacked by five drones. A civilian facility, a car and the fence of a private house were damaged. Four projectiles were launched at the village of Tolokonnoye in the Belgorodsky District. Air defenses shot down six drones over the district. Yesterday, a man sought medical help after suffering injuries on August 11, when a drone attacked a private house in the village of Vesyolaya Lokhan. The man has been diagnosed with a barotrauma and received the necessary treatment," the governor wrote on Telegram.

Twenty drones attacked the Valuisky Municipal District; 11 of them were jammed and shot down. Several apartments in a high-rise building and a couple of private houses were damaged, along with power lines. The Ukrainian military launched eight drones at the Graivoronsky Municipal District, two of which were downed. Five children were taken to the regional children’s hospital after a drone attacked a private house; it turned out the kids had not been injured.
