Tributes have been paid to a 'beautiful' husband and stepfather who died in a crash with an ambulance.

Alistair Stewart died after his car crashed with the emergency vehicle on the A98 in Arradoul, Moray.

He was driving a blue Renault Megane when it collided with an ambulance carrying a patient at around 6.50am on Monday, August 11.

The 36-year-old welder from Ardesier was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two paramedics and the patient from the ambulance were taken to Dr Gray's Hospital and Aberdeen Royal Infirmary Hospital for treatment.
