The 31-year-old actor began his career with his first speaking role in Westworld in 2018, followed by Apple TV+’s Truth Be Told. He made his mark with a stand-out performance as Adam Desiato in Your Honor and more recently as the serial killer Muse in Daredevil: Born Again.
Doohan isn’t slowing down any time soon, with roles secured in Evil Dead Burn, the next instalment of the famed horror franchise, and upcoming indie film, The Wilderness. Here’s what else you need to know about the Wednesday actor.
Hyde is not Doohan’s only time stepping into the shoes of a killer. Earlier this year, the actor portrayed Bastian Cooper – also known as Muse – a terrifying villain in Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again. He revealed in an interview with IndieWire that before landing the role, he had no knowledge about the series or character.
Doohan’s interest in acting began in Fort Smith, Arkansas, where he grew up. In his second year of high school, he auditioned for a school musical, taking his first step into the world of performing, per WWD. After graduating, he chose to pursue TV and film over musical theatre, making the leap to move to Los Angeles. Safe to say, it has paid off.
