JD Vance's massive motorcade has been seen passing through Chipping Norton as he makes his way to a sleepy Cotswolds hamlet for a family holiday amid a vast security operation.
The US Vice President is heading to an 18th-century country manor in the hamlet of Dean, where residents have been disgruntled by road closures and checkpoints manned by police with sniffer dogs.
His motorcade is made up of 18 vehicles, including two armored SUVs used by the Vice President, multiple Chevrolets carrying Secret Service agents, and other vehicles carrying members of the VP's office, medical staff and British police.
Police motorcycle outriders follow behind, with two more in front to clear traffic out of the way.
All entrances to the hamlet of Dean - two roads and three public footpaths - have been blocked off, with a heavy police and Secret Service presence stationed inside a large marquee.
